Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Soned in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Zebastian Soned stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Zebastian Soned tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantin Ciolacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Paris Saint-Germain's Constantin Ciolacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Ciolacu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Valeriu Enache notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zebastian Soned came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Paris Saint-Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Soned couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Valeriu Enache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Ciolacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Codrin Sângeorzan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint-Germain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Paris Saint-Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Sângeorzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Valeriu Enache sent off a good shot on target. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zebastian Soned to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Codrin Sângeorzan got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute, Valeriu Enache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Codrin Sângeorzan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Valeriu Enache struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris Saint-Germain. Felix Montenegro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Constantin Ciolacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Ciolacu having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Constantin Ciolacu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Constantin Ciolacu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paris Saint-Germain's Constantin Ciolacu did a great save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Constantin Ciolacu made a huge save. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Ciolacu. Constantin Ciolacu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Paris Saint-Germain fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
