The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Hannes Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The SK Gullegem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Jamieson to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Hannes Jamieson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Jamieson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Jamieson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Gullegem's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Urmas Känsäkangas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79thth minute of the game Mathias-Alexander Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SK Gullegem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Renan in the 80th minute. The corner led SK Gullegem's Bruno Renan to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SK Gullegem's Bruno Renan tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson hit a great ball. Hannes Jamieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SK Gullegem.
