Octavio Ferrer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morel Rial in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Eugenio Froila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Ferrer. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Ferrer should have stopped the shot. The supporters of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Acabay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morel Rial in the 31st minute of the match. Octavio Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morel Rial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carolo Bizen came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Bizen couldn't finish the play. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morel Rial in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Hats to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes, Yala's Gwendal Puig shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zacarias Erdiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yala reached it. After a rather tough play, Yala's Higinio Fidencio got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Osoitz in the 46th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Octavio Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jaime Osoitz made the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Freddy Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Aaron Mendiko was substituted for Jaime Osoitz. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Erubiel Maura was substituted for Morel Rial. The supporters of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Aaron Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Yala booed when TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aaron Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Higinio Fidencio hit a great ball. Yala's Jeronimo Caradaro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Tanio, made in the 86th minute of the game. Rodrigo Mora made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yala's Higinio Fidencio. Erubiel Maura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Octavio Ferrer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodrigo Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Octavio Ferrer made a huge save. With a little luck, Yala's Octavio Ferrer got control of the ball when Rodrigo Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB played a much better game than Yala and deserved their victory. The Yala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
