Peter Oldenborger made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gwidon Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 余永川 in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a corner. MK Investments's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ye Hong Shi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MK Investments's goalie and right to Isidro Ferman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MK Investments's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Domenik Hoffhuis took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Bufi. Arthur Bufi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Waclaw Poremba came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MK Investments fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waclaw Poremba couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Bults came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Bults in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Bufi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenik Hoffhuis in the 29th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Cruzeiro Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Ye Hong Shi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Ye Hong Shi to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter Oldenborger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 余永川 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Peter Oldenborger made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Olavo Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Dennis Wegman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Isidro Ferman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pascal Bults's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Bults helped the player get up and apologised. Pascal Bults kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half MK Investments were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwidon Cwojdak was the one to do the kick off. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 54th minute of the match. Peter Oldenborger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 余永川, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 余永川 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waclaw Poremba in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Bufi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Dante. After a defensive mix-up in MK Investments's zone, Gwidon Cwojdak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Oldenborger came out of the goal and Gwidon Cwojdak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Domenik Hoffhuis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arthur Bufi. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Douglas Botelho replaced Enrique de Mendonça. In the 81stth minute of the game 余永川 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a corner. MK Investments's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ye Hong Shi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Oldenborger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 余永川 might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Oldenborger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 余永川 ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Oldenborger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 余永川, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gwidon Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The MK Investments players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
