In the 14th minute Filippos Alexiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lv Zhen Li saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuz Acabays short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Kostas Periandros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lv Zhen Li showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Lelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Yala booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerasimos Maros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Esteve Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Yala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Abechuco couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Yavuz Acabay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Periandros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteve Abechuco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostas Periandros. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Yala's Yavuz Acabay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Periandros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kostas Periandros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Bundev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Nikologiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niki Bundev took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Yala's Armando Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Periandros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Telis Valsaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pagos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telis Valsaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kostas Periandros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ritchie in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Yavuz Acabay notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Yavuz Acabay notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gerasimos Maros hit a great ball. After 78 minutes of play, Yala's Niki Bundev made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Periandros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Lelopoulos came free, but Lv Zhen Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yavuz Acabay took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Yavuz Acabay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yala fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pagos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
