Niki Bundev kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Domenik Hoffhuis came free, but Lv Zhen Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 11th minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Fidencio to maneuver through the defense. Lv Zhen Li showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Cales, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Jaunti in the 27th minute of play. Peter Oldenborger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 39 minutes, Jimmie Cai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MK Investments and the Yala players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yavuz Acabay was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuz Acabay in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Oldenborger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lv Zhen Li showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Poremba, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes, MK Investments's Gert Cales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lv Zhen Li came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MK Investments reached it. 82 minutes into the game, Yavuz Acabay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Oldenborger. Yavuz Acabay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 90 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Jacco van Dartel came free, but Lv Zhen Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Jacco van Dartel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yala's Lv Zhen Li tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
