Immanuiah Nechoshen came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen. But to his dismay, Stephan Hammen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Daniel Geltzman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aad Lurling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Jasper Brand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aad Lurling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aad Lurling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elam Goldschmidt in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Geltzman in the 26th minute of play forced Reimersbeek U23's goalkeeper Aad Lurling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Elam Goldschmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Daniel Geltzman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Matsuvah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Stephan Hammen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Matsuvah booed when Reimersbeek U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riemer Groten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Daniel Geltzman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aad Lurling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Elam Goldschmidt made a precise shot to the right of Aad Lurling. Reimersbeek U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Geltzman to make the kick off. With a little luck, Reimersbeek U23's Aad Lurling got control of the ball when Jasper Brand tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Immanuiah Nechoshen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Reimersbeek U23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falco Wagemakers to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Daniel Geltzman in the 66th minute really tested Aad Lurling's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Reimersbeek U23's Aad Lurling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Reimersbeek U23 from getting a goal against them. Immanuiah Nechoshen came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Reimersbeek U23's Stephan Hammen. But to his dismay, Stephan Hammen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Immanuiah Nechoshen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Hammen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Reimersbeek U23's Aad Lurling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Reimersbeek U23 from getting a goal against them. Aad Lurling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Geltzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Matsuvah booed when Reimersbeek U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christijan Roelofsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the SC Matsuvah and the Reimersbeek U23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Matsuvah's Ehud Litvak got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Reimersbeek U23's Vincent de Visser made it 5-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Immanuiah Nechoshen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Jasper Brand notched a goal, 5-6, to the right of Reimersbeek U23's Aad Lurling. Aad Lurling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Matsuvah's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
