Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dirmyg Feltner started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Arno Roeters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greid Hancock hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timotheus Bray during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ieuan Closky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Hammen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Dirmyg Feltner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aad Lurling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Chelsea Junior's Ieuan Closky got control of the ball when Vincent de Visser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chelsea Junior's Arawn Hatton quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dirk-Jan Korf, made in the 17th minute of the game. Ieuan Closky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Hammen's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Stephan Hammen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ieuan Closky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Hammen in the 32nd minute of play forced Chelsea Junior's goalkeeper Ieuan Closky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arawn Hatton took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aad Lurling. Aad Lurling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 37th minute, Dirmyg Feltner made a precise shot to the right of Aad Lurling. Reimersbeek U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent de Visser got free with Ieuan Closky in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stephan Hammen took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ieuan Closky. Ieuan Closky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 59 minutes of play, Chelsea Junior's Dirmyg Feltner made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aad Lurling was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Vincent de Visser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieuan Closky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Stephan Hammen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ieuan Closky. Chelsea Junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stephan Hammen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. In the 73rd minute Vincent de Visser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieuan Closky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Reimersbeek U23's goalkeeper Aad Lurling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greid Hancock. Ieuan Closky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick Haas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Chelsea Junior getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Timotheus Bray hit a great ball.
