Gordon Bieri's late challenge caught a Tomarza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gordon Bieri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Villeret Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Bieri to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Wulf got free with Abdulkerim Ayvaz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Theiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Altunç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Celil Yetişen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villeret Academy's David Theiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saip Veysi scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Theiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baykam Toralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tomarza getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Celil Yetişen hit a great ball. Mark Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Abdulkerim Ayvaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Theiss came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Tomarza's Saip Veysi. But to his dismay, Saip Veysi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Gordon Bieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saip Veysi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saffet Uğursay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Theiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The Villeret Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tomarza were winning 0-2.

David Theiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Toralp in the 64th minute of play forced Villeret Academy's goalkeeper David Theiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Toralp in the 72nd minute of play forced Villeret Academy's goalkeeper David Theiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villeret Academy's David Theiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykam Toralp in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Villeret Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Baykam Toralp came free, but David Theiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan Schmid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villeret Academy's David Theiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykam Toralp in the 83rd minute of play. Villeret Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Brütsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkerim Ayvaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Tomarza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villeret Academy.
