Taverham's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jondo Pilievi in the 22nd minute. When Davit Pachalia came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Taverham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davit Pachalia couldn't finish the play. If Jondo Pilievi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Djvebe Andrzheevskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 四川眉山食鱼人联队's 孟杰明 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 沈翀珂 to make the kick off. A collision led to Taverham getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. The 四川眉山食鱼人联队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 孟杰明 should have stopped the shot. Djvebe Andrzheevskiy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of 孟杰明 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Davit Pachalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. 孟杰明 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djvebe Andrzheevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taverham played a much better game than 四川眉山食鱼人联队 and deserved their victory. The 四川眉山食鱼人联队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
