Ziemowit Ogrodowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zachariasz Wojtkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Bernd Engel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frankfurt and the Lizanie dupy kobiecie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Frankfurt's Bernd Engel got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Uwe Kappertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Lizanie dupy kobiecie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Wojtkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. During the 44th minute of the match Bernd Engel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernd Engel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th minute, Bernd Engel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachariasz Wojtkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horst Stieber to make the kick off. Gero Beinlich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Leper, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Tadeusz Gdowik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horst Stieber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olaf Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankfurt's Gero Beinlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Tepper in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Costa Ravens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frankfurt and the Lizanie dupy kobiecie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 minutes, Leon Tepper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lizanie dupy kobiecie and the Frankfurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horst Stieber in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Gdowik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Ravens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeusz Gdowik having to make a save. In the 84th minute Horst Stieber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Gdowik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horst Stieber struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tadeusz Gdowik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frankfurt. 95 minutes into the match, Zachariasz Wojtkiewicz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Frankfurt's Gero Beinlich. Gero Beinlich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lizanie dupy kobiecie players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
