After 3 minutes of play, Frankfurt's Horst Stieber made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khudji Sulaberidze was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Horst Stieber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frankfurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Taverham's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Maiko Koewius scored to the left of an out of position Khudji Sulaberidze, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiko Koewius in the 22nd minute of play forced Taverham's goalkeeper Khudji Sulaberidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Maiko Koewius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khudji Sulaberidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabir Urushadze hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Horst Stieber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Khudji Sulaberidze. Horst Stieber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. If Sabir Urushadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Ravens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djvebe Andrzheevskiy scored 5-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gero Beinlich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jondo Pilievi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jondo Pilievi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gero Beinlich. The goal made the score 5-2. After a rather tough play, Frankfurt's Boris Richstein got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Frankfurt's Gero Beinlich got control of the ball when Djvebe Andrzheevskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Taverham booed when Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Beutel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jondo Pilievi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Taverham's goal looked a bit too open when Horst Stieber came free, but Khudji Sulaberidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khudji Sulaberidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horst Stieber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khudji Sulaberidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horst Stieber, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Horst Stieber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khudji Sulaberidze. Taverham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horst Stieber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. A hard shot 76 in the game by Djvebe Andrzheevskiy from a close distance when the talented Gero Beinlich managed to make a qualified save. Frankfurt's players were relieved. Maiko Koewius might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khudji Sulaberidze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maiko Koewius ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horst Stieber in the 82nd minute of play forced Taverham's goalkeeper Khudji Sulaberidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maiko Koewius took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khudji Sulaberidze. Khudji Sulaberidze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabir Urushadze in the 87th minute of play forced Frankfurt's goalkeeper Gero Beinlich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Frankfurt's Gero Beinlich got control of the ball when Djvebe Andrzheevskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Frankfurt fully deserved thier win.
