With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Valentine in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho de Queirós saved All Boys from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Tellini in the 9th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Feo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Luizinho de Queirós made a huge save. In the 13th minute Domenico Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Alexis Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. All Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yala the free kick. Yavuz Acabay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Luizinho de Queirós made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Luizinho de Queirós successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Solchaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Yala's Santiago Feo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Pablo Solchaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zeledon Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Luizinho de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Yala's Santiago Feo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Marcial Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, All Boys's Alexis Melo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 66 minutes into the game, All Boys's Pablo Solchaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Luizinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 75th minute of the match. Golo Kante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. All Boys's Adan Platon was substituted for Domenico Tellini. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of All Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yala:s goal. 78 minutes into the match, Yavuz Acabay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho de Queirós. All Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Acabay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Esteve Abechuco made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Higinio Fidencio. 82 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Valentine came free, but Luizinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Yala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. All Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
