The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gafur Salim in the 2nd minute. Elias Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 6th minute of the match. Yala's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yang Zhan Xiao 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Elias Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Bundev in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Yavuz Acabay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yala and the Unión De Santa Fe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Yavuz Acabay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Curcio made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gafur Salim sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gafur Salim in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Unión De Santa Fe's Gafur Salim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Moise in the 21st minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Unión De Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yang Zhan Xiao to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marcial Lore hit a great ball. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Skilitsis in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gafur Salim could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Zeledon Curcio however easily saved by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Unión De Santa Fe's Gafur Salim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gafur Salim kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Niki Bundev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yang Zhan Xiao in the 39th minute of play. Yavuz Acabay took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Rozarius. Elias Rozarius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄朗沙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄朗沙 in the 52nd minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Valentine charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Valentine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Unión De Santa Fe's Yang Zhan Xiao. But to his dismay, Yang Zhan Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Elias Rozarius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Valentine in the 63rd minute. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Salim, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute Unión De Santa Fe were awarded a corner. Brian Lebigot went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which 狄朗沙 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yang Zhan Xiao in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Zhan Xiao in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Salim came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when 狄朗沙 came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Yala's Marcial Lore to fire away a dangerous shot which Elias Rozarius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Moise came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 狄朗沙 in the 92nd minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Unión De Santa Fe's 狄朗沙 made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Unión De Santa Fe had played much better football throughout.
