Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis Sánchez to make the kick off. The referee ignored Villa di Molvena FC's protests and gave Antonio Costantini a yellow card for diving instead. Edoardo Mauro came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by All Boys's Alexis Melo. But to his dismay, Alexis Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. All Boys's Carlos Soto was substituted for Tiburcio Bitxintxo. Luizinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Dubiel in the 73rd minute of play. Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pablo Solchaga 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. All Boys's Adan Platon was substituted for Domenico Tellini. Edoardo Mauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Solchaga in the 92nd minute.
