Liverpool F.C. YNWA were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Green Squad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tytus Lichucki took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Ata Bircan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Ata Bircan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ata Bircan sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute of the match Liverpool F.C. YNWA got a corner. Green Squad FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tytus Lichucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tytus Lichucki made a great header on Liverpool F.C. YNWA's corner, it was just that Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ata Bircan in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Jessie Pinkman made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Antunes in the 52nd minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ata Bircan might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ata Bircan ran back to his position shaking his head. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Bircan in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Ata Bircan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Bircan in the 60th minute of play. Ata Bircan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Mario Napolitano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tilemachos Romanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Conrado Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Squad FC and the Liverpool F.C. YNWA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Conrado Pernambucano hit a great ball. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Marinos Sidiropoulos was substituted for Ata Bircan. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Thomas Sgouros replaced Dominik Zawacki. In the 73rd minute, Conrado Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 77th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Sidiropoulos in the 82nd minute of the match. Renato Messias got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucas Silva. In the 90th minute, Marinos Sidiropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Sidiropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Sidiropoulos came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Green Squad FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Liverpool F.C. YNWA.
