An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Reynolds in the 21st minute of play forced Villa di Molvena FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Mauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Reynolds in the 21st minute of play. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Maftei got free with Edoardo Mauro in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeraldas S.C.'s zone, Jiang Yuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aguinaga Nebot came out of the goal and Jiang Yuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esmeraldas S.C. made a substitution. Daniel Castillo replaced Martinez Cines. 68 minutes into the game, Emil Dubiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa di Molvena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeraldas S.C. the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Villa di Molvena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Dubiel to maneuver through the defense. Grover Hofer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
