The crowd rose to their feet as SELEVASCO's Renato Paraíba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilvan Sanches. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches got control of the ball when Cãtãlin Hâldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Green Squad FC from getting a goal against them. When SELEVASCO's Renato Paraíba in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Squad FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Maia in the 14th minute of play forced SELEVASCO's goalkeeper Nico Pizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Maia came free, but Nico Pizzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Paraíba was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 26 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Cosme came free, but Nico Pizzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Pizzi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme. But to his dismay, Tadeu Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Patrick Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilvan Sanches firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nico Pizzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by SELEVASCO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Pernambucano was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Squad FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Pernambucano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nico Pizzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nico Pizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Pernambucano in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Renato Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cláudio Furlan hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Cãtãlin Hâldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. When Renato Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SELEVASCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Paraíba couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SELEVASCO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cãtãlin Hâldan in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Xavier Van Dijk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches did a great save. After 61 minutes Green Squad FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cãtãlin Hâldan who took care of the corner kick. Renato Paraíba made a great header on SELEVASCO's corner, it was just that Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Messias during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes, SELEVASCO's Cãtãlin Hâldan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SELEVASCO reached it. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Patrick Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Cunha went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 94thth minute of the game Patrick Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Damaso Rivas hit a great ball. Cãtãlin Hâldan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilvan Sanches. Green Squad FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
