Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Yala's Santiago Feo in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nico Pizzi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SELEVASCO through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, SELEVASCO's Acácio Queirós got a free kick in the 91st minute. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SELEVASCO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yala had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
