Alvaro Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Solchaga in the 21st minute. Feliciano Baumar struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luizinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scofield. Apolo Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alvaro Valente made a huge save.
