Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Okergun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ariel Mourelatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sinan Okergun's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With his leg Eloy Mazuste managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Amboy FC's Zacarias Goleš fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Sinan Okergun came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Tigres Ñacuñán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sinan Okergun couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Nicanor Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Zacarias Goleš recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eloy Mazuste. Zacarias Goleš showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Naelio. With his leg Eloy Mazuste managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Amboy FC's Zacarias Goleš fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Goleš in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Bergqvist to make the kick off. Mario Alberto Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Mazuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Naelio in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Mazuste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Goleš came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Jacinto Naelio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 64 minutes Tigres Ñacuñán FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Mendiko who took care of the corner kick. Ariel Mourelatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
