The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Jax kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amauri Félix. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Iwan Rawa got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 13th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 15th minute of the match. Martin Jax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Amauri Félix made a huge save. Amauri Félix made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Martin Jax sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute of the match GERLIROJO Ψ got a corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Salomon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led GERLIROJO Ψ's Genaro Tauro to a score. 2-0 in the 24th minute. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Nicolas Salomon with Genaro Tauro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 29 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes GERLIROJO Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. Stoyadin Gulev made a great header on Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's corner, it was just that GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute, Jens-Ove Malm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Jax was the one to do the kick off. Amauri Félix came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax. But to his dismay, Martin Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Malm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Andres Lastur made a huge save. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Martin Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Félix. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Félix should have stopped the shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Ixona Mascarañas was substituted for Mitchel Bakker. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aquilino Ihintza replaced Genaro Tauro. Eleuterio Benvido, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Ibañez came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Ibañez scored 5-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
