Mario Alberto Abascal had several of the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Amauri Félix as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 31st minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valerio Spadoni in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 36th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
