Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Isusko started the match with the kick off. Mario Isuskos short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ulryk Bugajski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulryk Bugajski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Ulryk Bugajski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Argentino de Buenos Aires's Ulryk Bugajski. Ulryk Bugajski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulryk Bugajski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes, Agustín Saelices made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Ulryk Bugajski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ulryk Bugajski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Rafael Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ulryk Bugajski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ulryk Bugajski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulryk Bugajski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 57 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Ulryk Bugajski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Ulryk Bugajski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 67 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ulryk Bugajski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Argentino de Buenos Aires made a substitution. Paulo Rosario replaced Rafael Piarres. 74 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Ulryk Bugajski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 77th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Jose Gamus was substituted for Leonides Ixona. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 0-9 became the score in the 85th minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ulryk Bugajski. Argentino de Buenos Aires's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
