LAS DELICIAS's Dalmacio Boniel was substituted for Ciro Asteri. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Colaço. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Refugio in the 96th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 97 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for LAS DELICIAS. Eyague Barroiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Cotilla. 6-3. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LAS DELICIAS had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
