Salvador Colaço had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Colaço was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
