Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paul Theissen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Blågula BollAtleter got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Ingvall. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Paul Theissen sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Blågula BollAtleter's Henry Bergkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Henry Bergkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Paul Theissen in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paul Theissen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Grep went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Bergkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 29th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Theissen in the 30th minute of the match. The Blågula BollAtleter fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alexander Carballo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benito Sanz. In the 46th minute, Paul Theissen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blågula BollAtleter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

After 53rd play minutes Paul Theissen shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 57 minutes of play, Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Theissen in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Henry Bergkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Bergkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Paul Theissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Sellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Theissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blågula BollAtleter's Roger Grep. But to his dismay, Roger Grep quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Theissen in the 86th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Grep came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Theissen in the 92nd minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Grep went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Blågula BollAtleter walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
