An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 5th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cankut Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Reyes in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Froilan Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cankut Wakabayashi. Turkey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Froilan Reyes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. Lucas Rallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Sönmez in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Servet Sönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Froilan Reyes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Cankut Wakabayashi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Spain's Cankut Wakabayashi threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Reyes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cankut Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Turkey made a substitution. Cuma Oruk replaced Arjen Robben. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Reyes to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Soyuer. Lucas Rallo was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Turgut Soyuer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Turgut Soyuer really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Lucas Rallo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Behzat Tanyeli got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aydın Tor. When Aydın Tor came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Turkey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aydın Tor couldn't finish the play. Spain made a substitution. Francesc Tamari replaced Coronel Fuster. Spain's Bayan Baye was substituted for Cordarin Escurza. Cankut Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesc Tamari in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Castro in the 72nd minute of play forced Turkey's goalkeeper Cankut Wakabayashi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydın Tor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cankut Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesc Tamari in the 79th minute of play. Cankut Wakabayashi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Coronel Castro. But to his dismay, Coronel Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-5. In the 87th minute, Aydın Tor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Rallo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-6. Cankut Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayan Baye, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bayan Baye kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. With a little luck, Spain's Lucas Rallo got control of the ball when Zé Dos Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line.
