Frans Galle was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witalis Merski saved Pattaya Dolphins F.C from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Thomas Ahlstedt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Pattaya Dolphins F.C booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Karl-Michael Hammarbäck made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 89 minutes of play, Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Mikael Olsson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pattaya Dolphins F.C had played much better football throughout.
