Emilian Şiman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hechter Avila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Hechter Avila sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Şiman in the 15th minute of play. The corner ended in Hechter Avila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Hechter Avilas short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hechter Avila in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the last second Joaquin Gayoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hechter Avila in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Joaquin Gayoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fonso Portillo. In the 24thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seat Leon CF's Denis Gorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Emilian Şiman sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidor Solano in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Gorri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 45 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hechter Avila who took care of the corner kick.

The wind increased when Hechter Avila made the kick off in the second half. Emilian Şiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hechter Avila in the 56th minute of play. The nice shot from Francisco Seco in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Denis Gorri had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 58th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Seat Leon CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Constantino Dorado thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Denis Gorri, a very annoying self made goal in the 59th minute which led to 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hechter Avila in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Hechter Avila put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Seat Leon CF's Iago Camacho was substituted for Constantino Dorado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hechter Avila in the 74th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Seat Leon CF got a freekick which was hit by Fonso Portillo. In the 79th match minute, Seat Leon CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fonso Portillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Denis Gorri threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hechter Avila's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Alberto Gisbert's late challenge caught a Seat Leon CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hechter Avila in the 94th minute of play. Denis Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Seat Leon CF could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
