Gürcan İlmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 10 minutes in the game, Alemdar Özaltay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Gürcan İlmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kızıl Elma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gürcan İlmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ahmet Gündüz Çeliksu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kızıl Elma's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
