Müslüm Vefik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gürcan İlmen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kızıl Elma's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
