Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Albir fc's Santiago Domingo got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Lúcio da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Green Squad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio da Cunha couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Jorge Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponc Leyva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Naranjo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Pierres Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albir fc and the Green Squad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Albir fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierres Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's Willian Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ponc Leyva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernani Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Albir fc's zone, Jorge Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ponc Leyva came out of the goal and Jorge Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albir fc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
