Aloísio Vargas replaced Cláudio Barral. After 10 played minutes Albir fc got a freekick which was hit by Silviano Caballero. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Chico de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ponc Leyva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Silviano Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Albir fc's Derwin Comas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albir fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Chico de Brito got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Derwin Comas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Chico de Brito took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ponc Leyva to make any attempt to save it.

When Silviano Caballero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. After 52 played minutes Albir fc got a freekick which was hit by Silviano Caballero. After 54 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Penha. Vinícius Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derwin Comas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vinícius Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ametz Pedraza. Albir fc's Ponc Leyva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico de Brito in the 57th minute of play. Eusébio Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ametz Pedraza got free with Vinícius Macedo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ponc Leyva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Albir fc's Ponc Leyva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Magalhães in the 65th minute of play. Ponc Leyva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Brito in the 68th minute of the match. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Vinícius Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Ponc Leyva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Brito in the 73rd minute of the match. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After 87 minutes, Chico de Brito made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Albir fc's Ponc Leyva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Chico de Brito made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ponc Leyva was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Albir fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.
