The supporters of Scofield booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Nicasio Frederico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Umbrella Corporation's Dino Fernandez. Dino Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dino Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adolfo Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Juan Romero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Umbrella Corporation's Dino Fernandez. Dino Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingos Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Abelardo Arósio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Fabian Pello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Juan Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Fernandez was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Juan Romero notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Umbrella Corporation's Dino Fernandez. Dino Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Fernandez having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Arósio to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Arósio came free, but Fabian Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umbrella Corporation's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinaldo de Carvalho in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Umbrella Corporation's corner Wanderson Rosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Pello quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Juan Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dino Fernandez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Donio during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dino Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Juan Romero sent off a good shot on target. When Nicasio Frederico fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scofield's protests and gave Nicasio Frederico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Roman Elorri got a free kick in the 76th minute. Umbrella Corporation's Leonardo Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dino Fernandez made a huge save. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Benedito Ceresso hit a great ball. Dino Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Romero in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Denis Aballe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Juan Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Dino Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. Dino Fernandez came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Scofield's Juan Romero. But to his dismay, Juan Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 97th minute of the match Scofield got a corner. Umbrella Corporation's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick.
