The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Ado in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Ånger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Mark Malmberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. Delmiro Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Winström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Facundo Nahas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bengt Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Nahas. 29 minutes into the match, Pascual Ado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cheetah Team's Bengt Ånger. Bengt Ånger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Pascual Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Ånger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bengt Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Club Atlético Escocia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Quinto in the 36th minute. Facundo Nahas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Aquiles Lazcano scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt Ånger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cheetah Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Escocia were winning 1-3.

If Pascual Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Aquiles Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ciriaco Satordi hit a great ball. Club Atlético Escocia's Delmiro Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Tholsson in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Aquiles Lazcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bengt Ånger, 1-4. Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Escocia's Sebastian Selatse was substituted for Lucas Quinto. In the 68th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Astrada to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Ado came free, but Bengt Ånger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Lazcano in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Ånger saved Cheetah Team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt Ånger. Bengt Ånger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 83rd minute Facundo Nahas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Astrada kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Christian Winström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cheetah Team booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Escocia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
