Ametz Pedraza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Dino Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juan-Francisco Saavedra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dino Fernandez made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Erasmo Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Umbrella Corporation and the Albir fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Umbrella Corporation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Albir fc's Rafael Navarro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dino Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derwin Comas in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Albir fc booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ametz Pedraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ametz Pedraza in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Fernandez saved Umbrella Corporation from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Albir fc's Pierres Rivera got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ponc Leyva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Gonçalves in the 41st minute of play. Nofre Prieto's late challenge caught a Umbrella Corporation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nofre Prieto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Albir fc's Nofre Prieto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ametz Pedraza to make the kick off. Ametz Pedraza struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dino Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albir fc. Ponc Leyva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Arósio in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Albir fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julen Morales to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Albir fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nelson Dias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benjamim Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Derwin Comas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
