An unexpectedly hard shot by Eche Mingas in the 13th minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper Martin Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ELPORVE defense, Jorge Cervera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Cresconio. The ELPORVE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Cresconio should have stopped the shot. Candido Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximus Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Piratas FC's Silverio Truylos was substituted for Ştefan Aluneanu. ELPORVE's Edelmiro Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Urbasa in the 69th minute of play.
