With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, 武 杨广 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 武 杨广 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Calamaro in the 43rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-1 when 武 杨广 sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 武 杨广 made a kick off. Claudio-Paul Caniggia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute.
