With an all-out effort, UFC Pivnica's Ysmael Marfil threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pavol Rybnický, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ľubomír Smatana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ysmael Marfil made a huge save. Ladislav Lomnický showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Avramescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Claudio Cina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislav Lomnický was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Ľubomír Smatana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ľubomír Smatana in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Pavol Rybnický kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ysmael Marfil. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ľubomír Smatana from a close distance when the talented Ysmael Marfil managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. Ysmael Marfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ľubomír Smatana in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, UFC Pivnica's Stanislav Záruba got a free kick in the 33rd minute. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Rybnický in the 36th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Cina was the one to do the kick off. When Stanislav Záruba came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the UFC Pivnica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Záruba couldn't finish the play. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Smatana in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of UFC Pivnica booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Nicodim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Ľubomír Smatana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Jaime Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Rybnický came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Kasarda in the 67th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Pivnica's Ľubomír Smatana. But to his dismay, Ľubomír Smatana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kušnír in the 81st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Daniel Kušnír shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match UFC Pivnica got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viktor Kasarda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ľubomír Smatana in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the DINAMO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UFC Pivnica.
