Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabien Van Daelen kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valencia C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland Nagy was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Devils's players had a chance to rest. 6 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Téo Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerry Lodge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claude Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Guillermo Farré managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Farré was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claude Bermudez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jerry Lodge made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Téo Lima sent off a good shot on target. Tuncay Candeğer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuan Wei Han in the 25th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Claude Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Van Daelen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerry Lodge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Red Devils's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roland Nagy in the 31st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Valencia C.F.'s goalie and right to Elek Elek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Valencia C.F.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Fabien Van Daelen came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Van Daelen couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Valencia C.F. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joe Herring made a kick off. Guillermo Farré's late challenge caught a Red Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Farré helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Farré kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Van Daelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Devils's Claude Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils from getting a goal against them. Joe Herring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuncay Candeğer during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Candeğer. Red Devils's Claude Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 75th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claude Bermudez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Herring in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Bermudez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Valencia C.F. got a corner. Red Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Farré ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Van Daelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Fabien Van Daelen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jerry Lodge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valencia C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Farré in the 96th minute. The corner led Valencia C.F.'s Guillermo Farré to fire away a dangerous shot which Claude Bermudez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Valencia C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valencia C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
