A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Steffen Gabrielsen hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Johan Kiewit made a precise shot to the right of Pál Mester. Red Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pál Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Tauro in the 27th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Pál Mester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Bermejo Club were awarded a corner. Feliberto Tauro went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Antônio Carlos Xavier managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Devils's goalkeeper Pál Mester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Steffen Gabrielsen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pál Mester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 43rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Steffen Gabrielsen with Károly Baranyai as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zsombor Karsai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Steffen Gabrielsen made a throw-in which Zsombor Karsai played forward. The supporters of Bermejo Club booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Gabrielsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Johan Kiewit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bermejo Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 58 minutes of play, Bermejo Club's Feliberto Tauro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pál Mester was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's Johan Kiewit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pál Mester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johan Kiewit scored 0-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Mester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Honorio Nikola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pál Mester was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsombor Karsai in the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Honorio Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejo Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Nikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Honorio Nikola made a precise shot to the right of Pál Mester. Red Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bermejo Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
