In the 7th minute Florentin Gougeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kikemania FC defense, Florentin Gougeon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Joachim. The Kikemania FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Joachim should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Florentin Gougeon sped through Kikemania FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Joachim. 23 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Joachim. Kikemania FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentin Gougeon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentin Gougeon in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Joachim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Generoso Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Logan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Florentin Gougeon made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Joachim. Kikemania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentin Gougeon in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Joachim saved Kikemania FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Florentin Gougeon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The supporters of Kikemania FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-7 became the score in the 38th minute when Florentin Gougeon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Florentin Gougeon came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentin Gougeon couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Daunte made a kick off. Eleuterio Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Filomeno Soin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Generoso Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 59th minute of play forced Kikemania FC's goalkeeper Generoso Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim. Generoso Joachim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Jurand Moryl got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kikemania FC's zone, Florentin Gougeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Joachim came out of the goal and Florentin Gougeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentin Gougeon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised Generoso Joachim 76 minutes into the match. Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 80th minute of play. When Jonny Logan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonny Logan couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Ofelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kikemania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia C.F. the free kick. The audience was convinced that Florentin Gougeon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Joachim was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. With a little luck, Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim got control of the ball when Jonny Logan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Todd Kidd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Kidd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kikemania FC's Generoso Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Kikemania FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Niceto Daunte hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Gagriel during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Valencia C.F. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kikemania FC.
