An unexpectedly hard shot by Yane Robev in the 14th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Baudelio Santa Ana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, David Pizarro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ЦСКА's Tinko Gerovski. Tinko Gerovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Capo de Provincia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baudelio Santa Ana should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dancho Vamporov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Epifanío Mejia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tinko Gerovski came out of the goal and Epifanío Mejia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yane Robev in the 46th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Baudelio Santa Ana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ЦСКА's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Jeronimo Avaria scored to the left of an out of position Tinko Gerovski, making the score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Semir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stoimen Dipchikovs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Baudelio Santa Ana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Semir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tinko Gerovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jeronimo Avaria sped through ЦСКА's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tinko Gerovski. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when Capo de Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lyuboslav Popinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capo de Provincia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
