A collision led to Gonzo Style f.c getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Amerigo Giardino hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, SV Bad Harzburg's Lars Schira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arrigo Capone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SV Bad Harzburg reached it. After 14 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Giardino. Arrigo Capone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halldor Sönksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Gonzo Style f.c's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lars Schira took the corner. Lars Schira made a great header on SV Bad Harzburg's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Augusto Vieri got a free kick in the 24th minute. Arrigo Capone made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eckard Döngelli sent off a good shot on target. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halldor Sönksen in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo Style f.c's zone, Halldor Sönksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Capone came out of the goal and Halldor Sönksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Signoretti. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Tassotti in the 65th minute of play. Arrigo Capone made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Halldor Sönksen sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of SV Bad Harzburg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gonzo Style f.c:s goal. The referee gave Gonzo Style f.c a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrico Tassotti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese. 1-0. In the 77th minute, Eckard Döngelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bad Harzburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 82 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Schulten. Arrigo Capone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halldor Sönksen in the 84th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SV Bad Harzburg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
