In the 7th minute of the match Blue Mountain State got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yaser Oğuzman ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Emanuel Garin at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of A.D. Alcorcón. 1-0. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykut Aşkın in the 13th minute. Maurino Serena was a little too slow when Tang Yang Le got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Aykut Aşkın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Maurino Serena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aykut Aşkın got free with Maurino Serena in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aykut Aşkın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tang Yang Le in the 24th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tang Yang Le sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Vadillos in the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Quijana during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eusebio Quijana hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Tang Yang Le came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Bacete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Aşkın in the 41st minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aykut Aşkın kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurino Serena. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Baican to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aykut Aşkın was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Tang Yang Le came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tang Yang Le in the 54th minute of play. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tang Yang Le's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tang Yang Le in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.D. Alcorcón's Eriz Acha was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tang Yang Le in the 62nd minute of the match. Aykut Aşkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. George Popescu replaced Aykut Aşkın. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Popescu in the 69th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Tevfik Hunalp came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Lionel-Andrés Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 81 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Ortiz. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Apolinar Guijarro. 91 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bingen Campos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Blue Mountain State's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
