Zhu Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Ibiza's Mariano Ireno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lütfü Şenbay in the 24 minute of the game. Mero Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Arif Yönet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mero Portero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 35th minute of play. Mero Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspar Talts in the 38th minute of the match. Mero Portero came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit. But to his dismay, Türkeş Akşit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 45th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Mero Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mero Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Arif Yönet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Arif Yönet to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mero Portero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Fonso in the 53rd minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazuo Koriotto in the 69th minute of play. Mero Portero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Uğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Alberto Usuriaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zhu Ao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kazuo Koriotto came free, but Zhu Ao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Jarosz came free, but Mero Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Ibiza were furious when Lúcio Cerezo was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Club Ibiza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Andırın SK:s goal. 97 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Mero Portero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olaf Jarosz. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
