Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Karol Panasewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Armani. Esmeralda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Blue Mountain State were furious when Manuel Baican was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Baican didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devidatta Vendetta in the 34th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esmeralda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 59th minute Eloy Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda AFC's Zülfü Sungur got a free kick in the 61st minute. Blue Mountain State's George Popescu was substituted for Aykut Aşkın. Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Karol Panasewicz. In the 62nd match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zülfü Sungur to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 90 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Armani was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Blue Mountain State had won after a very even match.
