After some careless play in the Andırın SK defense, David Banegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zhu Ao. The Andırın SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhu Ao should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devidatta Vendetta in the 28th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner. Devidatta Vendetta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Devidatta Vendetta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Andırın SK's Zhu Ao did a great save. Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Banegas in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralda AFC's zone, Türkeş Akşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Armani came out of the goal and Türkeş Akşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaspar Talts kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrew Dalli to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 55th minute of the match. Andırın SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 56th minute. Türkeş Akşit might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Armani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Türkeş Akşit ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes Andırın SK got a freekick which was hit by Naci Tansu. The audience was convinced that Lou Mazuret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Armani was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan Saik, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Andırın SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esmeralda AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
