The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 55th minute of play. Parque Europa FC's Rogelio Mendiola got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 70th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Zhu Ao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
